Melody Maker review of the April 1987 with staff picks by Paul Mather

Melody Maker review of April 1987 with staff picks by Paul Mather doing a passable impression of Johnny Marr.

It’s not as crappy a scan as it might first appear. These copies are all printed on loose leaf pages that don’t match up perfectly and in this case Melody Maker never actually printed Ian Astbury’s face. Some might say it’s a great improvement.

This weekend’s bizarre search term was “thom yorke handwriting analysis” and a related one that made me smile was “where in oxford do radiohead live”. Well thankfully I can answer that one. Radiohead live just opposite Inspector Morse. Why not pay them a visit next weekend as I believe Supergrass will also  be taking part a charity bedrace through the city streets.
