Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Mother of fucking God – look what happened to Melody Maker. Why didn’t they just set the title in Comic Sans and have done with it?
WHO THOUGHT THIS MAKE-OVER WAS A MOTHERFUCKING GOOD IDEA? WHO!
This issue in response to a request from Paul in Leeds. Bennun’s interview to follow with further shocking Look-In style album reviews etc. following that.
Back on the Horse! Sorry for the unintentional protracted break but life has been unusually busy since coming back.In a good way. Here’s to new friends – you know who you are.
It felt all wrong to carry on with that old issue and besides there’s been an important request from Alex who wrote to ask, “Do you have anything about Reading 1994? It was one of the happiest weekends of my life. I learnt to pogo!”
Speak and ye shall be sated!
Tipping my hat to ET who has a new blog at http://everetttrue.blogspot.com/
And how’s about this. John Peel’s Festive 50: 1976-2000 as Spotify playlists (some tracks missing but still)

“One thing this last terrible year has proved: if you lie about us, I will hit you, Kurt will shoot you and we will sue”.
But not if he shoots himself first eh Courtney?
And while we’re talking about love why not read an excellent blog post on the subject. It begins like this;
“All you need is love. That’s what John Lennon reckoned, but he was wrong. Sometimes you need a bulletproof vest too. And sometimes you need a cynical, jaded eye. Often, in fact. Having said that, although love is most certainly not all you need, it is the prime mover of the human spirit and life without it is stale, flat, tiring and – on the whole – depressingly pointless.”
