Did this pre-date baggy? Memory hazy. Found the small black and white images on page 44 a touch odd/disturbing. Has Ryder got some sort of shank to his throat?

I was i person who requested some more Madchester stuff. Thanks alot for the ‘Mondays’ stuff, many memories. If you can find anything from the band ‘The High’ that would be magic! The High were one of my Favourite Madchester bands. I used to have aload of cuttings of the band from my years of cuttings etc from NME, Melody Makers, Sounds music papers. Now sadly long gone :o(

I was a student from California living in London during this period. This site is great! I bought these issues when they came out from my local newsagent! To see them again is amazing. Some incredible music and memories from this period. The best was buying the Stone Roses album in Victoria Station and then listening to it on a train to Liverpool. Awesome. You Brits should be proud of all the classic music you have produced, many thanks from a grateful Yank!
